Congress: Kirsten Gillibrand

Gillibrand08 Re-Elect Kirsten Gillibrand. Throughout her career, Kirsten has demonstrated her commitment to public service. As a Member on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Agriculture Committee, Kirsten has been able to affect important pieces of legislation and promote Upstate New York's priorities. In Congress, Kirsten is committed to passing policies that will keep America safe, cut taxes for middle class families and bring jobs and federal investments back to our region. Kirsten understands that partisanship is not going to solve our country's most pressing issues, and she was recently ranked as one of the most independent-minded Members of the House of Representatives.

State Supreme Court Justice: Robert J. Muller

Muller2008 Elect Bob Muller State Supreme Court Justice for District 4 which includes all of Warren County, as well as Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, St. Lawrence, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Washington Counties. Bob was endorsed at the Democratic Judicial Conference in Queensbury on September 20, 2008. WCDC Chair Montfort stated: "The Democratic Party prides itself on endorsing qualified and experienced candidates. Mr. Muller has worked tirelessly to provide fairness and justice for residents of the entire Fourth Judicial District and beyond, and as Chairman, I am proud to share this unanimous endorsement for his election in November.”

Glens Falls Mayor: Judy Villa-White

Judy08 Judy is running to fill the remaining term of LeRoy Akins, who passed away on August 10th. Current 2nd Ward Councilwoman Judy Villa-White has won the support of the city Democratic Committee and the family of Mayor Akins. Judy brings 27 years of executive experience and a lifetime of community leadership to the mayor’s office. Judy shares the vision created by Mayor Roy Akins to bring economic revival and community renewal to Glens Falls.

Johnsburg Town Board: Ronald G. Vanselow

Vanselow08 Ron is running to fill the remainder of the Town Board term vacated by Sterling Goodspeed. On January 8, 2008, Ron resigned from the town Planning Board in order to be appointed to the town board to fill the vacancy created when Sterling Goodspeed resigned to fill the role of Town Supervisor. There will be a special election to fill the Town Board seat Ron has been filling since January, we urge you to give Ron your support.
