Special Election March 31

Governor David Paterson has set a tentative date for the special election to fill the vacant 20th Congressional District seat to Tuesday, March 31.

Democratic candidate Scott Murphy will speak at his campaign headquarters at 3 Warren St. in Glens Falls Thursday, February 12 at 12:30 PM.

Murphy's first TV ad is now appearing, and his campaign site will also be updated on Thursday.

Governor Paterson will formally proclaim the date of the special election on February 23. The official date, once announced, is expected to be March 31.
